8 studies have been completed as part of the IT Competence Center project “The Competence Center for Information and Communication Technology” in 2017, and more than 50% of the planned ERDF appropriations have been used.
Eight studies within the scientific direction “Technologies for analyzing business processes” have been completed as part of the IT Competence Center’s project. The plan is to finish eleven more studies in 2018, five of which are being carried out in the scientific direction “Natural language technologies”.
More than 50% of the 3 206 250,00 EUR support from ERDF was used by the end of 2017. Also, 32 scientific publications have been prepared as part of the project.
At the end of 2017 the IT Competence Center took part in INTER-COMP-INNO, a conference organised by the Ministry of Economics. At the conference the IT Competence Center was represented by Tilde, SIA with their study “Professional uses of technology for automatic speech recognition and synthesis” and dots. (previously SQUALIO cloud consulting), SIA with their study "A method for improvement of precision of localization and classification of vehicle license plates using deep neural networks".
