SCCM BitLocker Management

Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, previously SCCM or System Center Configuration Manager) BitLocker Management module provides centralized management of Windows operating system built-in BitLocker feature.

Internal and external (managed using Cloud Management Gateway - CMG) computers are supported by MECM BitLocker Management. In addition to that:

• No additional servers or systems are necessary for Bitlocker Management;
• Configuration policies can be customized for laptop and desktop computers; 
• Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7 operating systems are supported.

MECM BitLocker Management implementation project will consist of the following activities:

1. Information gathering and the analysis of the organization’s existing IT environment.
2. Discussion about configuration options and defining the most appropriate options for your organization.
3. MECM upgrade if necessary (minimum version required - 2002).
4. Helpdesk and Self-Service portal configuration.
5. MECM configuration and CMG operational testing.
6. BitLocker policy configuration, testing on test computers and preparing a manual for further Bitlocker policy deployment.
7. BitLocker recovery scenario demonstration.
